settle to provide 220 new homes
settle will soon be providing more than 220 new properties for shared ownership and affordable rent to lower income households.
Working with development partners, the properties will be available in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, and Royston in Hertfordshire. The first of the 120 homes in Marston Moretaine are now available. The development will be a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, with 76 to be provided as affordable rent and 44 for shared ownership. We will be providing 103 properties in Royston, 67 of which will be available as affordable rent and 36 as shared ownership. The properties in Royston will be available from next year.
These developments see settle delivering on the commitments in our strategy, Building a Better Tomorrow, to complete at least 480 new homes, and we have ambitions to push ourselves beyond this target.
