New affordable homes delivered in Stevenage by settle and partners
We have developed the much-needed new homes in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council and Knebworth Estates. Grant funding to contribute to the cost of the development has been provided by Stevenage Borough Council and the government’s housing delivery body Homes England.
The development was opened on Thursday 19th June by Gavin Cansfield, Chief Executive of settle, Councillor Jeanette Thomas from Stevenage Borough Council, Martha and Henry Lytton Cobbold from Knebworth Estates.
The development is located on land provided by Knebworth Estates, with all homes being built in a traditional style to ensure they are in-keeping with the local surroundings. The scheme comprises 4 homes for affordable rent, 4 for shared ownership, 4 for market sale and 2 homes which will be available for private rent from Knebworth Estates.
Gavin said “I’m delighted that working with our partners at Stevenage Borough Council, Knebworth Estates and Homes England we’re able to provide these new homes in Norton Green. At settle we’re committed to delivering new affordable homes alongside investing in local communities and it’s great to see families now able to move into these new homes at Norton Green.”
