Planned investment update

In our Customer Annual report for customers published last December, we stated our £94m commitment to investing in residents’ homes over the next nine years.

We’re pleased to confirm that our installation programme is returning to a normal service after the delays due to the pandemic. We’re investing £13m during the next 12 months on kitchens, bathrooms, central heating, windows and front doors.

We see most interest around new kitchens, bathrooms and windows and we’ve already contacted those residents on the installation list for this year. We also plan to publish this programme on our website by June and will keep this updated during the year.

We’re working to produce an installation list for 2023/24 onwards and we’ll publish that as soon as we can.

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is ‘why are we changing your neighbour’s windows but not yours?’ We take a number of things into consideration when looking at our installation list, such as the current standard of the item, it’s life expectancy and the type of issues we’ve seen. Our contractors then take our lists and plan the programme – taking into account their own resources.
