New executive director leads focus on asset strategy and sustainability
We’re delighted to welcome Jesse Meek as our new executive director of asset strategy and sustainability at settle. Jesse will drive forwards delivery of our repairs service, long-term investment in homes and keeping properties safe. Jesse will also have responsibility for settle’s sustainability strategy, making sure this delivers real benefits to customers and neighbourhoods.
Jesse was previously director of asset and building safety at One Housing and is also a non-executive director at Magna Housing.
Jesse joins settle today, Monday 4th July and will work alongside colleagues including Dean Anderson, who recently joined settle as executive director of customer service. We previously had a single director undertaking both the customer service and investment in assets roles, but decided to create two positions to reflect the increasing importance of these areas of our work.
Jesse said: “I am really pleased to be joining settle and helping to tackle some of the key issues affecting customers and our sector now and in the future.
“I am looking forward to working alongside colleagues at settle to prepare the organisation for the opportunities ahead, so that we can make sure residents continue living safely and comfortably in their homes.”
Gavin Cansfield, Chief Executive at settle, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jesse to our team. Jesse’s expertise will ensure we continue to improve the repairs experience and maintain momentum with our drive to improve standards through investment in existing homes and neighbourhoods.”
