Neighbourhood action days: Hitchin – Sunnyside
As part of our commitment to investing in neighbourhoods and creating places where residents can feel proud to live, we will be holding a neighbourhood action day in the Sunnyside area of Hitchin on Thursday 27 April.
Colleagues from our teams will meet at near the garage area on Sunnyside at 9.30am that morning and will be in the area until 12 midday, engaging with residents and tidying communal areas, including clearing pathways and litter picking.
We would be delighted for residents to join us, or if you would like to stop by and talk to settle colleagues please do come and chat to our colleagues in the area.
We will also have a skip available near the garage area for residents to dispose of unwanted items and will offer a collection service for those in the area aged 60 years and above and those who aren’t able to get to the skip. We will contact residents by text and email to arrange these collections.
Colleagues in our community investment team have been planning the event with some Sunnyside residents and are grateful for all their support and ideas for this event.
These follow similar successful neighbourhood action events we have run on some of our biggest estates during recent months. These have been completed in Letchworth – on the Grange and Jackmans estates, and in Hitchin – on the Westmill estate. We will keep this website updated with details of future neighbourhood action events.
