Neighbourhood action days in Kimpton and Knebworth

Michelle Emma Roland and Sally website

In November we returned to Kimpton and Knebworth to continue work that we had started during our neighbourhood action days in October .

During these action days colleagues from teams across the business go out and carry out tasks like litter picking, tidying or painting in communal areas or planting new garden areas.

Colleagues followed up in Wren Close in Kimpton by clearing and tidying up around the flat blocks.

At Deanscroft in Knebworth, they cleared the drying area, and carried out a general tidy up around the rest of the blocks, as well as removing rubbish.

In addition, we visited Cherry Close in Knebworth, where customers filled a large skip with unwanted items, which were later sorted for recycling and rehoming.

Colleagues also tidied up several drying areas and restrung a rotary dryer and installed another. Large tree overgrowth was cut back and multiple paths back.

Residents told us before we visited about an area prone to flooding which is the responsibility of Herts County Council. Highways carried out some drainage work the day before we arrived.

We’ll continue to keep this website updated with details of these future events.
