It’s time to give your views on our proposed merger

It’s time to give your views on our proposed merger – please complete our questionnaire by 8th June 2025.

We announced on our website a few weeks ago that we are planning to form a partnership with another housing association, Paradigm Housing Group Limited, to create a new group.

Joining with another organisation in this way is often called a merger. We believe this will allow us to provide better services to residents and invest more in our communities.

We have today, Tuesday 22 April, begun formal consultation with all Settle residents to let you know more about our proposals and how you can give us your views.

We will be emailing details to residents we have an email address for today. We are also sending all of the information to all residents by post today. You should receive it within two to three days.

We are providing background information on the proposals, FAQs, and a questionnaire for you to complete with your views via email and post. The posted packs will include a prepaid reply envelope for you to return completed questionnaires to us.
Please complete the questionnaire online or by post by Sunday 8 June.

You can find out more about the proposals and complete the questionnaire online here.

Along with the background to the proposals, we provide more information on what this means for you and what we believe the benefits will be. As part of this, we explain how Settle would join Paradigm – by becoming a subsidiary by late Autumn 2025 before a complete merger occurs within 18 months.

We also include details of a webinar and face-to-face events which you might want to join before completing the questionnaire.

Please give us your feedback. It will take only a few minutes of your time, and your views are important to us. We want to hear what you think about the proposal. All views will be considered when the Boards of our organisations discuss whether to go ahead with the proposal later this year.

We are very excited about this proposal and believe that it will benefit both you and all Settle residents. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

You can also find background information and FAQs on our merger proposal web page.
