Get Involved at Settle: Your Voice, Your Impact
At Settle, we’re all about putting residents first. Your voice matters, and we want you to help shape the services that make a difference in your community. Whether it’s sharing feedback or joining a panel, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.
We’ll always show you how your feedback is making a difference, and keep you updated on the changes we’re making based on what you’ve told us.
Take a look below at ways you can choose to get involved…
Stay in the loop with the latest from Settle:
- Settle Connect: Your online platform to engage and influence.
Settle Connect offers a virtual space where residents can engage with each other and with Settle around issues that matter most.
Whether it’s a service review, neighbourhood improvements or regeneration project, this forum allows real-time connection to the decision-makers, giving you a chance to influence the future of your homes and services.
How It Works:
- Join our online community
- Choose the topics you want to contribute to
- Share your ideas and feedback through various project pages
- See how your input leads to change
We’re all ears! Here’s how you can share your feedback:
- ‘Tell Us How It Is’ Transactional Surveys: After each service interaction, we follow up with a survey to understand your experience. This feedback loop helps us address any issues as they happen and improve continually.
- Make a Suggestion or Tell us when we did something well: Let us know when things go right or if you have a suggestion on how we can make things better.
- Complaints: If something goes wrong, we want to hear about it so we can fix it quickly. Our Customer Resolution Team works collaboratively across departments to resolve issues and ensure we learn from them. For comprehensive guidance on raising a complaint, please click here.
- Big Door Knock: We come to you! Settle colleagues, meet residents face-to-face. This helps us hear your thoughts directly and see your communities from your perspective.
Even if you choose not to participate in formal feedback activities, we’ll always keep you updated. We keep you informed through:
- Regular services updates (available in email and paper formats)
- Updates via Settle Connect
- Website news articles and social media posts
- Our You Said, We Did page
Represent your fellow residents and shape the future of Settle.
Our Voice of the Resident Panel is made up of 10 passionate residents who meet regularly with Settle colleagues.
Their role? To represent all tenants and help shape the services we deliver. Members bring a range of experiences and use performance data, such as the Tenant Satisfaction Measures, to hold settle accountable. Their goal is to ensure we’re not just meeting -but exceeding -your expectations.
The panel is currently closed for new recruits but we’re looking for residents to join our other panels.
Help us tackle climate change, one home at a time.
Our Green Panel is all about working together for a greener, more sustainable future. Did you know that homes contribute to 25% of carbon emissions? That’s why we’ve set ambitious goals to reduce the carbon footprint of our homes, making them warmer, more comfortable, and energy-efficient for you.
Interested in joining our panel to help drive this vital work, if so, we’d love to hear from you at engagement@settlegroup.org.uk, you can also call us on 0330 343 0016 to let us know you’d like to join.
